Prenatal Education Session
This session is to learn all of the baby feeding basics before your little one arrives. Thinking about breastfeeding? We’ll cover all of the information you need to make those first few important hours after birth a breastfeeding success. Thinking of bottle feeding? We’ll cover all of the basics on flow rates, bottles, positioning, and cues. Thinking of a combination of the above? We’ll cover it all. With the knowledge from this session, you’ll feel prepared to feed your baby right after birth, so you can just enjoy the moment. With this session, you will also be provided with our Baby Feeding Starter Kit, which includes personalized items to get you started with your feeding goals.

This session is for any baby at any age within the first year. This is our first meeting with you AND your baby. This session can cover newborn feeding and be right after birth, or when your baby is ready to start complementary foods, or when you are needing to transition your feeding source for back to work. Again, this initial consultation is our opportunity to get to know you and your baby and work with you to form goals, meet goals, or provide support as needed. This consultation will include an assessment of your baby’s oral motor skills, structures, and sensation to help guide feeding goals and planning. We will also assess their overall infant developmental skills associated with feeding success. We will help you find feeding success, while also helping you plan for the future. This session will include a personalized Baby Feeding Starter Kit with the necessary supplies to help meet your feeding goals.

Follow Up Sessions
These sessions are for established clients who would like or need additional support after their initial consultation. We can cover any and every thing infant feeding! See our general services offered above for ideas on all the ways we can support you!
Daily Office Hours Access
Feeding your baby is bound to have some bumps along the way. If you have a question, we are here for you. We offer daily office hours where you can call in to have your questions answered.

Of note, if your call exceeds 10 minutes, you may be asked to set up a follow up appointment so we can adequately address your needs. The Feeding Company reserves the right to make adjustments to these hours at any point.
Virtual Session
This can be used for prenatal education, initial assessment, or follow up visits. Our Baby Feeding Starter Kit is not included in this session. This is a great option if you are not local to the Columbus area. This session is completed over Webex video calling.
